Tanzania Standard Newspapers

The Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Palamagamba Kabudi, has introduced the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN) company, which has seven members including the company’s Managing Director, Ms. Asha Dachi.

The board, chaired by retired Inspector General of Police Said Mwema, officially started its work after being inaugurated today, August 8, at the TSN company offices located in Tazara, Temeke district, Dar es Salaam region.

The event was also attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, and the Government Chief Spokesperson, Gerson Msigwa.

The board members include Dr. Chisugilie Salum Khadudu, Lecturer at the National Institute of Transport (NIT); Ms. Joseline Jonathan Kamuhanda, Head of Marketing Department at CRDB Bank; Dr. Ayub Rioba Chacha, Director General of Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC); and Ms. Elimbora Abia Muro, Chief Internal Auditor at the Tanzania Investment Centre and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA).

Others are Mr. Deogratius Charles Kwiyukwa, Managing Director of Tanzania Investment Bank (TIB); and Ms. Zamaradi Rashid Kawawa, Assistant Director of the Information Department, Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports.
